Octagonal Mixer
The Octagonal Blender is a batch-type industrial mixer engineered for homogeneous blending of dry powders, granules, and cohesive materials. Its octagonal-shaped chamber (8-sided geometry) optimizes material trajectory during rotation, enhancing convective and diffusive mixing efficiency compared to cylindrical or conical designs 13. Constructed from 304 stainless steel (wall thickness: 3–6 mm), it operates via a cantilevered shaft driven by a geared motor (typical power: 1–4 kW) with variable-speed control (5–25 RPM) 15.
Cantilevered Shaft Design: Stainless steel shaft (diameter: 50–120 mm) with dual tapered roller bearings for reduced axial deflection (<0.05 mm at 25 RPM).
Polished Internal Surface: Electropolished SS316L chamber (Ra ≤0.4 μm) for CIP/SIP compatibility.
